Muhle R101

This razor is a very good piece of kit. I bought the r41 head after I've accustomed myself to wetshaving with the r109 (same handle, r89 head). I have to say that the open comb head and it's geometry makes it an efficient razor if handled correctly, but a bloodthirsty beast if you don't handle your angles right.
Long story short, if you go the extra mile and learn to handle this lady you will have no need for any other razor. Be that for the occasional shave every other day or for your every day routine.
I use this razor with a Kai blade fort an extra smooth finish after four or five days off not shaving and a permasharp for those shaves I perform more frequently.
Would definitely recommend it to intermediate and experienced shavers!
