The Blackbird is a modern, double-edge safety razor designed, machined, and finished in the United States. With looks inspired by the iconic SR-71 "Blackbird" reconnaissance aircraft, the Blackbird razor is as visually striking as it is functional. Each of the Blackbird's three pieces is machined from solid stainless steel to astoundingly tight tolerances, delivering exceptionally close and consistent shaves.

don't fear the blackbird

Fantastic razor! I was a little bit worried about being too aggressive, but actually it isn't. It's smooth and efficient and for me personally easy to find the right angle.
Also didn't notice any drag due to the machined finish.
Besides my Homelike Start, GC 84 and Rockwell one of my favorites. And it's for sure the most interesting looking razor in my den.

Efficiency

Efficiency is the middle name of Blackbird, though the slickness is very low. You get used the reduced slickness after 2-3 shaves. It is a formidable razor!
